Talk to an obstetrician about getting a sperm test for your partner, and an hsg - an x-ray test to make sure that you don't have blocked tubes.

Get tested: At age 19, fertility should be excellent. If you're ttc and not successful after trying for a year, or if you think your cycles are irregular or have other problems, see a board certified fertility expert.
