See your Doc: It's possible that all is normal. It can take many normal healthy couples a couple of years to conceive since so many factors are present. On your own you can track your cycles & determine your fertile days. A good lh kit from the pharmacy helps with this. Making sure intercourse occurs on these days is also helpful & most importantly, don't stress & have fun with this. Good luck & take folic acid.

Need work up: It's been a year since you have been trying to conceive; a workup is warranted. Initially a semen analysis, and blood tests such as thyroid, prolactin, and Progesterone would be helpful. Also a hysterosalpingogram to check the uterus and fallopian tubes would be very beneficial. Depending on your symptoms a laparoscopy may also be helpful versus superovulation and insemination.
