Why do i have ringing in my ears as i fall asleep?

It's always there: You don't just have it while you sleep... It's there all the time but you notice it while you are falling asleep because the ambient noise during the day that would normally mask it is starting to decrease around the house... "the house is quiet." the ringing (tinnitus) is usually nothing serious, but you may want to have your hearing checked. Also check my health tips http://tinyurl.Com/42dosks.

Tinnitis: Many people with this problem notice it mainly when they are alone and it is very quiet. Pay close attention and see if you ever experience it at other times of the day (if you can stand what the answer might be).
