High calorie: Certain foods that like chocolate or anything that has caffeine can affect our ability to fall asleep. High fatty meals or large meals can also make it difficult to fall asleep and may even cause acid reflux disrupting our sleep. Would avoid meals 2-3 hours before bedtime although a light bedtime snack can help promote sleep. Sugary substances can also result on over stimulation and sleep issues.

Sleep: Typically fatty foods and acidic foods will cause heartburn and indigestion and worsen your quality of sleep. Of course caffeinated foods/drinks can cause insomnia.
