A lot: Some prenatal tests are human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) level, alphafetoprotein (AFP) screening, ultrasound, blood glucose level, HIV & std tests, pap smear, german measles immunity, torch panel, urinalysis, complete blood count, genetic tests, hepatitis b screening, etc. This is just a sampling - there are also specific tests for particular risks.

See your doctor: Prenatal care involves multiple tests to assure a healthy pregnancy. You will need blood tests for anemia, tests for sexually transmitted diseases, blood typing, rubella immunity as well as ultrasounds, and additional screening for genetic conditions and diabetes. These tests are done at different times in your pregnancy based on how far your pregnancy has progressed.
