It's Up to You: We are exposed to all manner of emotional stimulation when viewing popular media these days. It really depends on what you watch, how it affects you and whether you continue to watch based on those effects. There has been some research done that shows mental health disorders are often inaccurately portrayed or over-emphasized in the media, making them seem more prevalent than they really are.

It depends on U : First is not all what u hear is true and second what happened happened u can't change it. But it is normal to have empathy and feel sad for the misery of others and there are a lot of it.

Should be fine: As long as a vegetarian eats a well rounded variety of foods containing the appropriate recommended portions of protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals on a regular basis, his/her dietary intake should not negatively impact mental health.

Can being happy affect your mental health?

Not Simple Question!: Being happy is associated with: having close friendships & satisfying romantic relationships; being liked/admired by others; resistance to illnesses/speedy recovery from them; enjoying life; helping others; etc. But asking people to talk about how happy they are tends to make them sad! and focussing on how to get happy tends to make them quite unhappy! ted talk by dan gilbert: http://bit.Ly/yoiurd.

How can war affect your mental health?

Dr. Dheeraj Rainaanswered

Many different ways: It's hard to give a short answer, as the impact depends on the experiences a person had during the war- a few examples: whether a person was civilian or a soldier, whether a victim or perpetrator of acts of violence, how those acts were seen at the time, and whether he/she ended up on the winning or losing side. Many, but not all survivors end up suffering from depression and ptsd.

How does conflict affect your mental health?

Depends upon: how you handle it. Humans deal with conflict all of the time. If one is assertive it can lead to a satisfactory conclusion and probably strengthen your ego. If it is handled in an unhealthy manner it is likely to lower your self-concept.
