A member asked:

Is there any way to correct near-sightedness in albinos? what about laser eye surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Contact lenses, glasses and laser vision correction can all be done. It is important that the person has steady eyes with good corrected vision. Some albino patients have nystagmus (shaky eyes) and can't have surgery.
