Could mean several..: A burning sensation in the hand could indicate irritation (compression or inflammation) of a nerve. The location of the nerve irritation could be anywhere from the next to the wrist. Symptoms occasionally resolve spontaneously. If they do not, be sure to see your doctor or a hand surgeon for a complete evaluation.
