Lens hygiene: As in removing the lens, always make sure your hands and fingernails are thoroughly cleaned and avoid introducing the nail into the corneal surface. Place the lens on the fingerpad of your forefinger in the correct orientation (lens edge up and curvature smooth) and with your fourth finger, lower your lower eyelid. Then gently place the lens onto the corneal surface. Do this in front of a mirror first if inexperienced. Close eyelids and roll eyes so lens hugs surface snugly.
