Eyes and nise: There are several ways the eyes and nose/mouth are related: 1. They are both lined with mucus membrane, so certain cconditions can be common such as allergies or viral infections. 2. The tear drainage duct is connected to the nose and drains tears from the eyes into the nasopharynx.

Similar membranes: The eyes, nose and even the mouth are lined with mucousal membranes that can be damaged by similar insults. That is why your eyes and nose become runny when you have a cold or upper respiratory infection.
