Get tested.: Dry eye therapies have allowed many of our patients to continue with contact lens wear or to have lasik. Restasis, tear duct plugs, omega-3 fatty acid supplements, blepharitis therapy and other techniques can be tried to help you use lenses to fit your lifestyle. Just be checked.

Reduce contact lens: Try a different material contact lens (change in oxygenation), go to dailies and reduce wear time. Use more artificial tears. Look for other causes of treatable dry eye. Sometimes other medications or hormonal changes affect dry eye.

Dry eye: Dry eye is very common. I would try artificial tears frequently during the day, ointment at night, warm compresses 1-2 times a day, and omega-3 fatty acid supplements. If no improvement, see an eye doctor.
