A member asked:

What can i do to stop getting mrsa?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Decolonization: Close contact with some one infected with mrsa, over growding, poor hygiene, exposure to MRSA from hospitals can all be risk factor for being infected with the this bacteria. However most people who have recurrent MRSA infection is because they are colonized with the bacteria, usually in their nostrils, thus decolonization of nostrils ( bactroban (mupirocin) ointment) , good hygiene, hand sanitizing may help.
