Not necessarily: Some people are carriers for MRSA and that doesn't mean they are infected.The bacteria just lives in their flora (usually nasal)without causing any symptoms.However, some carriers can get infected with mrsa.Once treated, they are no longer a carrier.However, they can still become a carrier again as it can easily be passed in the community.There is no way of telling unless you take a culture.
