Could be : Hypersensitivity in one of the nerves but sounds like shingles. Depends on how long it has been going on. Could also be a pinched nerve in your neck or shoulder. Difficult to know without more details and or an exam.

I was stung by a hornet in my upper arm Sunday. the rash is growing in size. It is now moving down my arm. It itches, hurts and hot to the touch.
Wasp sting 6-8 weeks ago. Upper arm just above elbow. Took a few days to settle down. Now same area flared up a couple days ago. Itching. A red swollen bumpy rash. Warm to touch. Doesnt hurt but really itches. Infection cellulitis?
Lower scalp started itching and now torso, arms and uppers thighs and hips itchy rash. No dietary or soap, lotion or detergent changes. Help?!
