Information gatherin: Height, weight measurement and good history gathering. If there was past medical testing or any imaging studies, i would recmen you bring copies with you (regardless of whether they were faxed or not by your referring doctor). For stature issues, birth measures and biological patents heights will be helpful. For girls with menstrual problems, a menses diary will also be of great help. Good luck !

Endocrinologist : The first visit with the endocrinologist will consist of the taking of a thorough history and complete system review as well as a physical examination. If you bring results of recent tests, these will be reviewed, but a battery of tests, some of which will be complex and specialized, will be ordered for further evaluation. You may be started on medication if a diagnosis is made at the first visit.
