GERD: The symptoms you describe can be the result of gastroesophageal reflux disease or gerd. It may also be an esophageal stricture which is a narrowing of your esophagus. It is best to discuss these symptoms with your primary care provider.

See your doctor: Could be an obstruction in the back of the throat or lack of saliva. Please see your doctor for an evaluation.
