Not prescribed drugs: Social workers are not responsible for monitoring the use of prescribed drugs. This should be done with the prescribing physician. However there are social workers trained in substance abuse that can offer therapy to help with this serious problem. Medical doctors are however also well trained to deal with the problem of abuse of drugs. I wish you well with your health and well being.
