Smoking: Yes! smoking leaves a residue on you and your surroundings. This causes the smell of smoke on your skin, hair, and clothes. My advice would be to quit smoking.

See below : Speaking personally: i was unaware of the smell living with my parents who smoked. Now i can tell which of my patients have been recently smoking based on their breath and clothes. I can't walk into my mothers house now without my head swimming for a few seconds. No amount of deodorant, perfume or anything else will eliminate this smell.
