See below : A psyllium based fiber such as Metamucil daily. Give it 2 weeks. A daily stool softener such as MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) is also helpful.

Be careful: Excess fiber in relation to your fluid intake can cause constipation and bloating. If you are eating a high fiber diet, don't take additional fiber supplements. I recomend 80-100 ounces of non caffeineated, non alcoholic fluid per day. Add 20 ounces per 30 minutes of strenous excercise and 20 ounces per hour of airline travel especially if you fly often.
