Why should it?: I don't see why friendship should change with puberty. True friends stay forever. If you are talking about some other relationships than pure friendship, please specify that in your comments.

More information?: A person's priorities often change at puberty, but life (mine, others) have taught me that genuine friendship is the most stable of all relationships. If by chance your best friend is an adult who did not go through puberty because of some medical condition & now wants to, the changes will be both exciting and confusing, and they are fortunate to have a genuine friend like yourself.
