A member asked:

My grandson had an mri that shows a cystic structure in the pineal region. he is 8 yrs old and sees a therapist once a week his brother (5) is adhd?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ADHD: Pineal gland cysts or tumors, deep inside the brain, are most often symptomless but are associated with hormone/endocrine symptoms. Adhd has mostly been associated with other parts of the brain, such as the frontal lobes of the cortex and gyrus regions near by, which are higher and more outer part of the brain.
