I have sharp pains in my sides and abdomen when i take a deep breath it hurts, but not all the time and not often. sometimes it just randomly hurts.?

Usually muscular: Your symptoms may suggest a lot of things- could be muscular, pleuritic(lining of lungs are inflamed from coughing), intestinal stomach problems etc discuss with your dr about this. He may recommend some blood work, chest xray, spirometry etc. Best wishes!
