Vaginal bypass.: Cesarean section refers to an increasingly safe and common mode of delivery via the lower abdominal wall instead of the natural vaginal birth. It typically involves a transverse incision on the skin 2-3 cm above the pubic symphysis (pfannenstiel) and a transverse incision on the underlying fascia and the lower uterine segment (kerr). It preserves the fetal brain/life and the maternal pelvis!
