It will: Disablility add new issues to any relationship. It will depend on your attitude and their attitude. If you are both in a good, strong and stable marriage, you will find that same bond will continue to see your through. There will be stresses, mis-understandings, demands, and pressures that are new. Talk often, be open, ask questions, seek help continue to care deeply for each other. Vows?

Spouse disability: This really depends on how serious you were about the VOWS - till death do we part. It will be a strain definitely.
