Most doctors can : Perform hysterectomy safely, but the same risks always remain: heavy blood loss that requires a blood transfusion; post operative infection ( urinary, wound, pelvic abscess, blood infection, pneumonia); damage to adjacent organs like bladder, ureters, rectum or small bowel; post operative deep venous thrombosis or pulmonary embolus; also anesthesia related risks and heart attack, stroke.
