Probably: Well most people do not get a fast heart rate when eating. However, it probably does not indicate that there is anything wrong with your heart. Maybe you just like to eat and get excited.

Can be: Some foods , especially spicy foods or foods with caffeine (chocolate) can cause your heart to beat faster ... Also eating causes your gastrointestinal tract to need more blood flow, which can cause your heart to beat faster.
