Can you tell me some heartburn remedies?

Yes: Heartburn usually results from return of food mixed with stomach acid back into the esophagus. If this occurs when you lie down, elevate the head of the bed (something hard like a brick under the bedpost, pillows won't help) and do not eat at least for two hours before going to bed. See your doctor if the problem persists. Medications such as zantac/pepcid or prevacid/nexium are helpful.

Antacids: Antacids, such as tums, (calcium carbonate) mylanta, maalos, or medications that protect the lining of your esophagus, such as pepto-bismo ... Also eating smaller amounts of food ... Avoiding lying down right after eating ... Avoiding caffeine and alcohol ...
