Maybe. : I once had a memorable patient whose mood was very much associated with her blood sugar levels. Her diabetes was not well controlled, and her mood was obviously worse when her levels were far above normal. The mechanism by which diabetes might impact mood is probably complicated, but i think sugar levels rather than hormones are at work. Make sure your diabetes is under good control.
