What is vap test? who should and can get vap test done?

Cholesterol test: A vap test is primarily a test done to obtain a more detailed cholesterol profile for a patient. It is rather technical for this forum, but it basically gives a directly measured value for LDL (bad cholesterol, normally calculated) and also the details of other particles amounting to total cholesterol. It has not been shown to be more valuable than the cheaper non-hdl cholesterol measurement.
