Yes: The Hepatitis B Vaccine is not a live vaccine but is made from dna particles only and cannot cause infection. It is well tolerated and safe. This vaccine is given even to newborn babies (in a smaller dose) 3 doses will normally give immunity for life. There is an accelerated dosing given to those traveling into high risk zones--this dosing requires a later fourth dose. Bad disease--get protected!
