Yes: The most sensitive and accurate diagnosis can be achieved by a physician - simply by asking you questions, and by thoroughly examining you. If an ear, nose, & throat doctor (otolaryngologist) still has questions after that, imaging studies (x-rays or ct scans) can help them sort things out.
