Depends: Cystic hygromas that develop early in the pregnancy are usually associated with a chromosomal problem. Cystic hygromas that develop later in the pregnancy usually indicate some viral infection that has caused some problems with lymph drainage. You should see a high risk doctor.

C-section: A cystic hygroma may limit the chances of having a natural delivery. The baby will likely be delivered by c-section. Ask your obstetrician.
