Find the cause: You have to find the cause of why the red blood cells are being destroyed ( hemolysed) then target it; certains cause of hemolysis are medication, heredity, malignancy, infection, enlarged slpeen etc...

It depends upon ....: The cause of the hemolysis. There are intrinsic and extrinsic causes of red cell lysis. Intrinsic causes are generally divided into hemoglobinopathies, enzymopathies and membranopathies, where red cell destruction is favored by the given abnormality and can be exacerbated by many and varied triggers. Extrinsic causes are often immune-mediated or mechanical. Treatments vary depending on cause.
