A member asked:

Are there foods that help prevent allergies?

No: There is some evidence that early introduction of certain foods can decrease the likelihood of developing an allergy to it. So rather than waiting to give peanut product to your child until they are age three, perhaps introducing something at or before age one might decrease the chance of developing an allergy. However, this is still a theory.
