Not at 28: Height is largely genetically determined, but can be affected by many things, including diet, vitamin intake and the influence of other illnesses. Smoking may have some effects on growth, but our growth plates generally close by the end of puberty (usually 16-18) and smoking cessation after that will not have any effects.
