Osteotomy: First it would be nice to know where the proposed osteotomy will be and why . Then we can present a reasonable estimate as to pain levels. Keep in mind that everyone's tolerance of pain is different . Speak to your surgeon about this and any concerns.

Several weeks.: An osteotomy is essentially a surgically induced fracture. Like other fractures, they take about 6 weeks to heal. You should be much more comfortable after the first two weeks following surgery.
