Seizures and diet: Yes it is possible to change some seizures with diet. For many years some patients have been treated with what is called a keto=genic diet, which has controlled their seizures. Talk to your doctor to see if you are a candidate for this diet and if so ask for a referral.

Good health habits: Seizures may result from bad health habits. Poor sleep, poor nutrition, and inappropriate use of alcohol and drugs will cause seizures. Good health habits will help control seizures. Appropriate evaluation of the cause for seizures is first, then the appropriate seizure medication, and then good health habits. Your doctor can give you advise about appropriate diet and supplements.
