What disorders or diseases can cause seizures where the person stops reacting to everything yet is still conscious just not in control of body?

Absence events: The events you describe can be different disorders. Generalized absence can occur in children. Complex partial more in adults. Cataplexy does this in narcolepsy. Similar events occur in psychosis. Some normal people space out with stress.
