Some interest in toilet training may be expressed at this time. This should be praised but not pushed for now.

18-24 months: At this point, there should be more words in phrases and sentences that communication is possible. Just talking and reading at this age and introducing to others with excitement is often embraced well. He or she may walk, run and climbs, stacking blocks, name objects with pictures. They are in the age range for toilet training, reenforcing positively if goes well.
