No lesions: Hiv itself does not cause skin lesions. Infections and cancer as a result of aids cause skin lesions and each has its own appearance.

Lesions can vary: The most common HIV related lesion is kaposi sarcoma (ks). Its a purple-red raised painless lesion. It can occur anywhere on the skin but is seen mostly on the legs and trunk.
