Copper: Copper (cu) is a mineral which is needed for optimal health. Cu is incorporated into superoxide dismutase & cytochrome c both vital enzymes in redox reactions. Cu is needed for normal collagen production.Lack of cu can lead to aortic and other aneurysms because of abnormal collagen many people unknowlingly deplet their cu by ingesting excess vit c and zinc. Each of which inhibits absorption of cu.
