If you have the surgery for gastrochesis, what are the chances it will revert?

Slim to none: I have not seen it revert once it is corrected.

Less than 5%: The description of reversion of a gastroschisis is really the development of an incisional hernia at the repair site with or without evisceration of the intestines. This represents a breakdown or impaired healing of the surgical site. Evisceration is extremely rare, while the risk of developing a hernia at the site is probably around 5% of cases. This can be re-repaired surgically.
