Probably not: Addiction may be genetic. But, this question is, unfortunately, very general. So, generally speaking, there really are not any sure signs or "indicators.".

Yes: Oppositional, behaviorally disordered, defiant, children are more likely to become drug abusers in later life. Children with neuropsychiatric problems are at higher risk if they go untreated. Children left to "raise themselves, " or who live in chaotic households are at greater risk.
