A member asked:

What causes humans to get liver fluke disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Contaminated food: Infection with liver fluke parasites can happen after consumption of contaminated undercooked/uncooked fish. There are some liver flukes that can contaminate watercress, parsley, and alfalfa; the contamination comes from sheep and cows in that case.
