How do the coronary arteries get their name?

By Cusps: The right coronary artery generally originated from the right coronary cusp. The left main generally originates fromthe left coronary cusp. It normally supplies over 2/3 of the heart's blood supply; it a main conduit. It quickly divides in to the left anterior descending which travels on the anterior aspect of the the ventricle. The left circumflex also comes off the left main leftward and back.
