How long after a diskectomy before my back pain improves? will i start experiencing pain relief right away after a diskectomy, or does it take a while for the back pain to go away?

Leg : Leg pain usually resolves quicker then back pain after a discectomy. Leg pain may improve immediately while back pain may take weeks to months to improve. Sometimes back pain does not improve. Good luck!
