my husband woke up this morning with his top eye lid swollen. under the eye is swollen also, but not nearly as much as the top. what can he do til he gets to the drs. tomorrow?

I : I would not delay seeking medical care at an emergency department to evaluate the cause of the swelling. This has potential to effect his vision in the long term.

If : If his vision is good, you can use cold compresses to try to reduce the swelling. If anything worsens, seek medical attention immediately.
