Her : Her vagina should be so tiny at this point, that it is likely only at the mouth of the vagina. Don't insert anything into her vagina. However, you can gently wash off the area, to remove the feces. I wouldn't use a rag. You could use a baby wipe or a soft baby washcloth. Use tepid or lightly warm water. I am assuming this might be your first child. Congratulations. Consider taking a parenting class for newborns. Since they don't come with instructions, unless you have for younger siblings, there is a lot to learn. Take care.

It : It is unlikely that the poop made its way into her vagina. It can certainly get in between her labia. Ideally, if you are at home, you would rinse her bottom off in the sink or bath tub and then pat her dry. You can wipe the outer labia with diaper wipes without problems..But if you wipe the inner labia too much or to vigorously, you might make the skin raw and the labia may then stick together (labial adhesions or labial fusion). If there is poop deep inside the labia and you can't just rinse it off, i recommend that you wipe gently with wet kleenex or wet toilet paper so that the inner labia do not get damaged.
