Whether : Whether or not you are going to have breast augmentation, if you are concerned there is a problem with your heart, see a cardiologist. Why take the risk? If your heart checks out fine, you can stop worrying. If there is a problem, the faster it is diagnosed, the faster you can get it treated.

If : If you did have cardiac symptoms caused by the use of any medicine, you should consider having your heart examined by a cardiologist for your own safety. If all the tests are normal, proceed with breast augmentation. Good luck from nyc. For more info visit www.Drgrossman.Com.

Relay to surgeon: You should definitely transmit this information to your surgeon and anesthesiologist who will likely recommend that young obtain a full cardiac evaluation to determine if your health is is good.

Yes: Any board certified plastic surgeon should make sure that you are medically stable before scheduling any surgery. If you have any cardiac history or abnormality on your ekg, usually we will have you see a cardiologist before surgery.
