Wow. : Wow. You are asking doctors who have never met or examined you on an internet site if you should refuse recommended medical care. As you are already aware, there is not certainty if the baby's lungs have developed enough at this point. If you adamantly disagree with your doctor's medical recommendations, then you could request that the doctor help to arrange for a second opinion by another obstetrician. However, as a woman who has had babies, i can tell you that there is often a struggle between the woman wanting to be delivered earlier and the doctor who is wants to wait closer to term to allow for full development of the baby.
